Welcome to IRMA's terms of service! By using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions (Australia – Queensland):

These Terms of Service apply to all services provided in Queensland under Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
1. Services Provided
We offer the following services:
Home organisation and decluttering
Interior styling and space planning
Storage system setup
Product sourcing and purchasing
Move-in setup support
Follow-up guidance and recommendations
The exact scope of work will be confirmed with the client prior to each booking.
2. Compliance With Australian Consumer Law
Under the ACL, consumers are entitled to services that are:
Provided with due care and skill
Fit for the intended purpose
Delivered within a reasonable time
Nothing in these Terms excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
3. Client Responsibilities
To ensure a productive and safe session, the client agrees to:
Provide accurate information about the space and project
Allow safe access to the home or premises
Identify valuable, fragile, or sensitive items
Take responsibility for all final decisions about discarding, donating, or selling belongings
We will not make disposal decisions without your consent.
4. Bookings, Payments & Fees
All fees are quoted in AUD.
A deposit is required to secure your booking.
Remaining balance is due on the day of service unless otherwise arranged.
Time extensions, additional materials, or extra services will incur additional charges.
Travel fees may apply outside the standard service area (South East Queensland).
Non-payment:
If payment is not received on the agreed date, services may be paused and late fees may apply.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling (QLD Standard Business Practice)
Cancellations made 48 hours or more in advance: no charge.
Cancellations made within 48 hours may incur a fee up to 50% of the booked service.
If we arrive and cannot access the property or the session cannot proceed due to client circumstances, the full session fee may be charged.
We may reschedule due to illness, emergency, or unsafe conditions.
6. Product Purchasing & Reimbursements
When purchasing materials on the client’s behalf:
We will confirm a budget beforehand.
All purchased items belong to the client once delivered.
Returns are subject to retailer policies and may incur restocking fees.
Time spent sourcing products may be billed as part of the service.
We do not offer refunds for unwanted items unless the retailers allow it.
7. Health, Safety & Environment
Under QLD Work Health and Safety requirements, we cannot work in environments with:
Hazardous materials or mould
Infestations.
Dangerous structural conditions.
Excessive hoarding that presents safety risks.
If such conditions are found, service may be paused or terminated.
8. Limitations of Service
We do not provide:
Deep cleaning or trades services
Heavy furniture moving without proper assistance
Electrical, plumbing, building, or structural work
Rubbish removal (we can assist in arranging third-party services)
9. Results & Maintenance
We create systems that are functional and sustainable, but long-term maintenance depends on the client’s habits and household use. We cannot guarantee how long organisation results will last.
10. Photos, Marketing & Consent
With your permission, we may take before/after photos for marketing.
We will never share photos that reveal your identity, address, or personal information.
Clients may decline photo use at any time.
11. Liability Limitation
To the maximum extent permitted under QLD law:
We are not liable for pre-existing damage to items or property
We are not responsible for loss of items during decluttering unless due to proven negligence
You agree to supervise children and pets during sessions
You release us from liability relating to donation, disposal, or sale decisions made with your approval
Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service.
12. Satisfaction Guarantee
If you believe part of the service was not delivered with reasonable care and skill, please contact us within 48 hours so we can review and resolve the issue.
13. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be accessible on our website.
Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
